Letícia is a legal assistant at UNO’s Sao Paulo office. She provides assistance in legal matters related to trade remedies investigations, especially in preparing questionnaire responses and drafting memoranda defending the parties’ interests. She is also responsible for research in international trade, focusing on WTO law and dispute settlement, national trade remedies regulations as well as domestic and foreign courts case-law.

She also provides assistance in customs matters, relating to import tax reductions based on lack of a similar national product (“ex-tarifarios”), procedures regarding imports’ tariff classification and import licensing. In addition, she has assisted companies in permanent and temporary alterations of the Common External Tariff – TEC of the Mercosur.

Ms. Prado holds a Bachelor’s Degree in International Relations from the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo (PUC-SP). She completed part of her undergraduate studies in an academic exchange program at the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile, in Santiago.
Before joining UNO, Leticia was an intern at the Trade Remedies area of the Federation of Industries of the State of Sao Paulo (FIESP). Previously, she also participated in an intern program at Broggini do Brasil, a consulting firm specialized in the internationalization of companies of several productive sectors.
